FREE PATCH - ANZ eGate MD5 to SHA-256 November 2016

Important Information for for anyone using ANZ Payment Gateway with X-Cart

ANZ have announced that they will be discontinuing the support for MD5 hash with their payment gateway eGate.

"IMPORTANT UPDATE: The MD5 hash algorithm will be decommissioned after 30 November 2016. Mastercard has advised ANZ that the MD5 algorithms will not be accepted after 30 November. Merchants using the MDS algorithm will need to upgrade to SHA256 algorithms by 30 November."

This means is means you must do the following before 30th November to avoid loss of business:

MeMedia will apply this patch to all existing or new clients FREE OF CHARGE. We understand that this is a critical part of your stores functionality and endeavour to make sure you are not affected by the change.

*Note: this patch is also applicable to Commweb/CBA Gateway users.
